Pastor Ishmael Wilson is an accomplished entrepreneur and pastor dedicated to empowering communities. In 2008, he founded Another Level Church in Capitol Heights, Maryland, which has grown significantly under his leadership, impacting countless lives through extensive community outreach. Committed to service, Pastor Ishmael has led initiatives that include feeding over 2000 families, providing toys and school supplies to over 1000 children, and ministering to more than 10,000 individuals. Beyond his pastoral duties, he served as Assistant Chief Chaplain for the Capitol Heights Police Department for over 8 years. Prior to ministry, Pastor Ishmael worked as a paralegal at the Library of Congress, influencing government employees and constituents. He later ventured into entrepreneurship with Fresh Dry Cleaners, now expanded to 4 locations in the DC Metropolitan Area. Pastor Ishmael also oversees ministry operations as Chief Operating Officer of Donald Hilliard Ministries and co-founded Success Geeks Inc., aiming to empower individuals in business, finance, and personal development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Development and has completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. Married to Pastor Rochelle Wilson, they are proud parents of 5 children.
At Small Church Matters, we are committed to empowering pastors and leaders of small churches (200 members or fewer) with the insights and resources they need to flourish in their ministries. Our network serves as a safe haven where pastors and leaders can enhance their effectiveness and impact, recognizing that the size of their congregation does not diminish their calling. We believe that every church, regardless of size, has a unique role to play in God’s kingdom.
